Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working under a contract in a vibrant school community near Burlington, NC. This full-time, on-site position spans the upcoming academic year, from late August through early June. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team, provide vital speech and language interventions, and help students reach their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, active SLP licensure and relevant educator certifications in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to changing student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students in an on-site educational environment
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support each students needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
  • Adjust service delivery and therapy approaches to best serve assigned caseload (final number of assigned schools may vary)
