Job Description

Make a meaningful difference every day by supporting the communication development of K-12 students as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist. This dynamic, full-time contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, conveniently located near Burleson, TX. You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 60-65 students, focusing on just one designated school site within a welcoming educational setting. This is an in-person position with no teletherapy or virtual options.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure (required)
  • Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers highly encouraged to apply
  • Ability to complete/verify fingerprinting with TEA (Texas Education Agency); please allow up to 10 business days for this crucial credentialing step
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and dedicated teamwork

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, individualized speech and language therapy services to K-12 students at the assigned school
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, and language disorders per student IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students academic and social success
  • Maintain detailed student records and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing professional development
