Job Description

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in a supportive school setting in Santa Clarita, CA. The role involves working with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade at a single school site, delivering speech and language support to help young learners thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions tailored to students needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech Language Pathologist License required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory; candidates with a strong enthusiasm for working with school-age children are encouraged to apply.
  • Passion for supporting students communication development is essential.

Work Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week, 5 days a week.
