Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working with students in a supportive school environment near Buffalo, NY. Play an essential role in helping K-12 learners achieve their communication goals during a summer session from July 6th through August 14th. With consistent weekday hours and a manageable caseload, youll have the chance to create meaningful connections and positive outcomes for your students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid New York Speech Language Pathologist license
- ASHA CCC or CFY credentials welcomed
- Experience in school-based settings or a passion for working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a K-12 caseload
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other team members to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Monitor progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
