Key qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, including those with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to create and execute individualized therapy plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and service delivery models
- Provide direct therapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
- Support teachers and staff with strategies to integrate communication goals in the classroom setting
