Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Ability to manage a varied caseload of students with diverse needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services within both individual and group settings
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and promote carryover of targeted skills
• Maintain professional, timely documentation of evaluations, IEPs, progress notes, and relevant reports
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the problem-solving process
