Job Description

Make a significant impact working with high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals eager to use their specialized skills in a supportive educational environmentwhile enjoying part-time flexibility. As the sole SLP assigned to this case, youll work directly with a single 15-year-old student, providing focused, one-on-one therapy for 45 minutes each week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid Maine state licensure as an SLP
  • PROMPT certification required
  • Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Comfortable participating in virtual (Zoom) interviews

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to a high school student
  • Utilize PROMPT techniques and evidence-based interventions
  • Document progress and collaborate with IEP team members
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Communicate regularly with school staff and caregivers to ensure the students needs are met
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards of practice
