Make a significant impact working with high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals eager to use their specialized skills in a supportive educational environmentwhile enjoying part-time flexibility. As the sole SLP assigned to this case, youll work directly with a single 15-year-old student, providing focused, one-on-one therapy for 45 minutes each week.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Maine state licensure as an SLP
- PROMPT certification required
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable participating in virtual (Zoom) interviews
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to a high school student
- Utilize PROMPT techniques and evidence-based interventions
- Document progress and collaborate with IEP team members
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Communicate regularly with school staff and caregivers to ensure the students needs are met
- Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards of practice
