Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience with school-age students, particularly in elementary settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to administer assessments, develop individualized plans, and track progress

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in both group and individual settings
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments as needed to identify speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide consultative support and resources to educators to facilitate inclusive classroom practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies
  • Foster positive, encouraging relationships that support student engagement and growth within the academic environment
