Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a K12 school setting highly valued
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations and direct therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care and academic progress
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports within mandated timelines
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
  • Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based speech therapy

Position Details:

  • Contract position from August 13th, 2026, to May 20th, 2027 (potential early start for staff development days)
  • Full-time schedule, TuesdayFriday, 7:30 a.m.4:30 p.m. (32 hours per week)
  • Onsite services only; virtual work is not an option
  • Diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through high school
