Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license is required
- Previous experience in a school setting, providing speech and language services
- Understanding of K-12 student needs and educational frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Ability to tailor speech therapy interventions to a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and prepare detailed reports
- Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all state and federal regulations
