Make a meaningful impact working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract role near Brockport, NY. You'll help shape communication skills and support academic success for children with diverse speech and language needs, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and eligibility for practice in New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and experience conducting evaluations, reports, and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and parents
• Organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students referred for speech-language therapy services utilizing standardized assessment tools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, language, speech, and social proficiency
• Work in partnership with general and special education staff to support inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and facilitate communication goals for students with diverse needs
• Provide resources and consultation to teachers and families regarding communication disorders and strategies
