An elementary school in Connecticut is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position. This role will involve working with K-5 students to support communication and language development within the school setting. The district is interviewing candidates now for an immediate start.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Provide individualized therapy services based on student needs
- Assist students with articulation, fluency, language, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement student accommodations and goals
- Participate in PPT/IEP meetings and maintain student records
Requirements:
- Active Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist License
- Connecticut educator certification required
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
