Three contract assignments are available at Green-Hills PreK, Chippens Hill Middle School, and Mountain View, covering different date ranges in the upcoming school year. Each role provides a chance to work alongside dedicated educators and families, ensuring students develop essential language and speech skills for academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Connecticut SLP-CCC license required
• Previous experience in K-8 or school-based SLP services preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment and therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• Proficient in report writing and IEP documentation
• Flexibility working with diverse age groups and needs

Position Details:

• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement speech/language therapy plans
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings
• Provide direct individual and group therapy sessions for students with identified needs
• Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
