Job Description

These roles are focused on middle school and elementary settings, delivering direct therapy services and supporting students communication goals throughout pivotal stages of the academic year. Whether you prefer a mid-size middle school atmosphere or the elementary school experience, select a placement aligning with your passion and schedule.

What were looking for:

  • Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license (required)
  • Experience in educational settings, preferably K-12
  • Strong clinical skills for speech/language assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Effective communicator who collaborates with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Organized and adaptable professional, comfortable managing a school caseload

What youll do:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Develop treatment plans and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in meetings and collaborate with educators and families to support student outcomes
  • Offer strategies and modifications to ensure student success within the classroom
  • Serve as an on-site resource for faculty and staff regarding communication needs

Contract details:

  • Two positions: Chippens Hill Middle School (late August through end of November) and Mountain View (late August through November 23rd)
  • Full-time: 35 hours per week, onsite
