Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for a K-12 school located in Brimley, MI. This contract assignment spans a full semester and requires onsite presence. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 45 students, with assignments distributed between single school and multi-building settings. The age range served will include individuals from 3 to 26 years of age, providing a diverse and fulfilling professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across a broad age range (3-26 years).
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and mentorship programs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (MI SLP License) is required.
  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (SLP - CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working within school settings (SLP - School) is strongly desired.
  • Ability to manage a caseload with both single school and multi-building assignments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
