Job Description

Essential Experience and Licensure:

  • Current, valid SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other members of the student support team
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on evidence-based practices in the field
