Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time opportunity covering a maternity leave from August 31 to November 30, with a weekly schedule of 3540 hours. Youll be working near Bridgewater, NJ, in a dynamic school setting, helping students achieve their communication goals. Your expertise in SLPespecially experience with school-aged children and CCC certificationwill empower young learners to thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC certification
- Direct experience in pediatric and school-based SLP settings
- Knowledge of traditional SLP caseload responsibilities, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with IEP systems and the ability to adapt to new digital platforms (training provided)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, maintain appropriate documentation, and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP development, and communicate progress effectively
- Adapt and customize interventions to meet individual student needs within a traditional caseload structure
