Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility in Connecticut)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or CFY candidates considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
What Youll Do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students unique needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Offer resources and support to classroom teachers and families to generalize skills beyond therapy
- Engage with students from diverse backgrounds, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
