Ideal candidates will bring:
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain speech-language pathology licensure
- Previous experience working with pediatric clients, especially in a school setting
- Strong commitment to individualized, evidence-based interventions
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational settings
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY applicants may be considered)
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Developing and implementing student-centered therapy plans, targeting speech fluency, language development, voice, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create IEP goals and progress reports
- Tracking and documenting student progress with attention to accuracy and compliance
- Providing supportive consultation and resources to classroom staff and caregivers
