Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic K-12 caseload in the Bridgeport, CT area. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support students communication development while working in a collaborative school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Eligibility for Connecticut state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working in schools or with K-12 students is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate communication goals across settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized education plans
- Support student participation and social-emotional development through targeted speech-language interventions
