Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Connecticut SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Background in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP services preferred
  • Comfortable working with PreK-8th grade students and adapting interventions to meet a variety of developmental needs
  • Experience or willingness to collaborate with teachers and staff across multiple school environments
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students across several school sites
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Implement both group and individual therapy sessions, providing support tailored to each student
  • Work closely with educators and families to monitor progress and coordinate care
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district to ensure all students receive necessary services
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
