Make a difference in students lives as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting children from PreK through 4th grade and 8th grade across multiple school sites near Bridgeport, CT. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to work onsite as an itinerant SLP, delivering essential services to help students thrive academically, socially, and personally.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Connecticut (CT) SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates considered
- Experience serving pediatric populations, preferably in school-based or teletherapy settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse and dynamic caseload across grade levels and school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in PreK-4th and 8th grade, both individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with students needs and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social communication skills
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Travel between school locations as an itinerant SLP to ensure comprehensive coverage
