Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active NJ Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Background in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
  • Confidence working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Motivated to contribute to the success and development of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing to IEP development and progress reviews
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support educational goals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and state guidelines
  • Deliver both group and one-on-one services, adjusting techniques to best meet each student's needs
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and families on strategies for supporting student communication
