Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active NJ Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Background in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Confidence working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Motivated to contribute to the success and development of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing to IEP development and progress reviews
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and state guidelines
- Deliver both group and one-on-one services, adjusting techniques to best meet each student's needs
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families on strategies for supporting student communication
