Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and certification as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Prior school-based experience preferred, but motivated new graduates will be considered
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively support students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Provide both direct and consultative services in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
- Maintain detailed records, track progress, and generate required documentation in a timely manner
- Stay current with best practices and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
