Empower students to discover their voices and achieve their communication goals in a school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Deliver therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to provide consultation and strategies for classroom integration
• Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and update goals as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Advocate for student needs and ensure compliance with all school and state regulations
• Provide resources and education to families and staff on communication disorders

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP license for the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
• Previous experience in school settings highly valued
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work positively within a dynamic educational environment
