This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology, working with a diverse range of age groups and needsfrom early childhood through high school.
Your work will include collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to help students build foundational language and communication skills. Each day brings a new set of achievements as you guide children and adolescents, empowering them to thrive socially and academically.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Prior school-based experience across a range of age groups, including Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school
- Background in pediatric and early childhood settings is highly valued
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students unique needs
- Track and report on student progress, adjusting therapy methods as needed
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to foster supportive learning environments
- Provide direct and consultative services within the classroom and individually
- Contribute to case conferences and staff meetings to coordinate care
