Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists seeking a contract role in a vibrant school setting for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, with caseloads averaging around 50 students, and assignments thoughtfully matched to your unique skills across PreK12 grade levels. Youll make a real difference helping students thrive in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington SLP license
- ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate)
- Eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status
- Experience within school settings preferred, but motivated clinical fellows are welcome to apply
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication and swallowing disorders
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessionsas well as consultative support to staff
- Monitor student progress and report outcomes regularly
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, developing goals tailored to student needs
