Job Description

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Florida state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience within a school setting is an advantage
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for working with a diverse student population

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Screening, evaluating, and identifying students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans as part of the IEP team
  • Providing direct and consultative therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and educational goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participating in parent meetings, eligibility meetings, and team conferences as required
