Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in schools near Bradenton, FL, as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a full-time, in-person role starting August 10, 2026, and continuing through May 27, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact on young learners at locations including Harvey (grades 4-7), Braden River Elementary, and Tillman Elementary.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students across a range of elementary and middle grade levels
  • Collaborate with school staff to support students Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process to enhance outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews as required

Key qualifications and skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active FL SLP License (CFY candidates welcome)
  • Strong understanding of school-based caseloads and diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to on-site work at assigned schools
