Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Bradenton, FL. We are seeking motivated professionals to provide crucial speech services within local schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. Assignments offer a diverse and dynamic environment, with caseloads and specific details allocated based on order of hire and district needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Florida SLP license is required
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred (will consider qualified bachelors-level candidates)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome; CCCs preferred
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is advantageous
- Must be comfortable working on-site at assigned schools
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students, tailored to their IEPs and individual needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with district/state regulations
- Deliver engaging interventions that support communication skills, literacy, and social development
