A contract position is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) at elementary schools in Bradenton, FL, serving students in early childhood and elementary settings. The role involves providing speech therapy services at three Title 1 schools, supporting diverse student populations including those in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Exceptional Student Education (ESE), and integrated pre-kindergarten classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations, interventions, and individualized education program (IEP) development in compliance with school district guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with educational staff to support students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Provide supervision and oversight of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and licensure requirements.
Location:
- Assignments at Ballard Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, and Abel Elementary schools in Bradenton, FL.
- On-site presence required at each assigned school.
- Contract duration from ASAP until May 29, 2026 (Abel Elementary assignment available from March to May 29, 2026).
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license required.
- Masters level preferred; candidates with Bachelors degree will be considered.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted; SLPAs will be considered only with appropriate supervision from a Masters level SLP.
- Experience working with diverse student populations including ASD and ESE preferred.
This is a full-time, contract role with three positions available. The role offers the opportunity to impact student communication development in a rewarding school environment.
