Desired Experience and Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP process
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Deliver therapy services targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain detailed and accurate student records
- Provide consultation and resources for staff and parents as appropriate
