If you are a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA CCC certification and proven experience in school settings, this contract opportunity may be the perfect fit for you. At this time, the district is pursuing direct hires but anticipates moving forward with contract positions by the end of the month. Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working in K-12 school environments strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educational teams, parents, and administrators
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Maintain detailed documentation in line with state and federal guidelines
- Consult with teachers and parents to support students progress within the classroom
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
