A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Boston, MA. This position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time caseload options, ideal for professionals dedicated to enhancing student communication skills within diverse educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to individualized student support and progress tracking
Location:
- Boston, Massachusetts
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and therapy services to a K-12 caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication needs across academic settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
- Communicate progress and recommendations with families and educational teams
