Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students in a dynamic, collaborative school-based setting near Boston, MA. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or within a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify communication, articulation, language, and pragmatic disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student's unique requirements
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs and best practices
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other allied professionals to support student progress
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student success
- Provide ongoing support, resources, and guidance to teachers and families regarding communication needs
