Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but all motivated SLPs are encouraged to apply
  • Understanding of elementary school age communication challenges and intervention strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
  • Dedication to fostering student progress in a diverse classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each students unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and IEP objectives
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and evaluations in accordance with district and state standards
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and share expertise with colleagues
