Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in this contract role, you will provide critical speech and language services to students with diverse needs, helping them thrive academically and socially.

What you'll bring:

  • Active SLP license or certification in Massachusetts
  • Experience supporting children in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Flexibility and organizational skills to manage a caseload across multiple grade levels

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver speech/language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure integrated support for each child
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insight to shape student goals and accommodations
  • Utilize creative therapy approaches to engage students of varying abilities and backgrounds

This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing you to immerse yourself in the day-to-day life of the school community and truly connect with your students.
