A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Boston, MA, offering an opportunity to work within an elementary school setting. This contract includes both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) options. The role begins ASAP and extends through June 30, 2026, supporting a diverse elementary caseload with comprehensive speech-language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and generate detailed reports
- Deliver direct speech therapy services targeting elementary students
- Participate in consultations with educators and parents to support student communication needs
- Collaborate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, including writing goals and progress monitoring
- Maintain open communication with parents and teachers regarding student progress and therapy plans
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP licensure is mandatory
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
- School-based SLP experience is required, with previous exposure to elementary caseloads
- Must be available to work onsite due to caseload requirements
- Clearance through CORI background check and fingerprinting is required
- SLP Assistant (SLPA) candidates will not be considered
