Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC certification and Massachusetts DESE licensure is needed for the 2023-2024 school year in the Boston area, with work locations including Billerica, Lawrence, and Littleton, MA. This role focuses on providing speech-language services to elementary students in grades K-4, serving a variety of disabilities in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students (K-4)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with DESE guidelines
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals and progress
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric school-based speech-language pathology
Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (no CF candidates)
- Valid Massachusetts license in Speech-Language Pathology
- DESE certification to practice in public schools
- Recent full-time school-based experience preferred
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during the 23/24 school year
