Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC certification and Massachusetts DESE licensure is needed for the 2023-2024 school year in the Boston area, with work locations including Billerica, Lawrence, and Littleton, MA. This role focuses on providing speech-language services to elementary students in grades K-4, serving a variety of disabilities in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students (K-4)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with DESE guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric school-based speech-language pathology

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (no CF candidates)
  • Valid Massachusetts license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • DESE certification to practice in public schools
  • Recent full-time school-based experience preferred
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during the 23/24 school year
