Job Description

This opportunity involves providing speech-language pathology services for elementary students Kindergarten through 4th grade within a school setting in the Boston, MA area. The position is contract-based with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The role requires working with a diverse range of disabilities, supporting each students individual communication needs.

Ideal candidates will hold a current Massachusetts SLP license, certification of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and DESE licensure. Recent school-based experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred. Applicants must be prepared to support students across multiple elementary schools in the surrounding communities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification
  • ASHA-certified SLP with CCC credential (no clinical fellows)
  • Recent experience providing school-based pediatric speech therapy, preferably K-4
  • Ability to manage a caseload involving a variety of speech and language disabilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for collaborating with educators and families
  • Availability to work full-time during the school year

Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and collaborating with teachers and parents to maximize student outcomes. The position emphasizes a commitment to supporting students academic and social communication development in an elementary school environment.
