Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year supervision available
  • Previous experience in a school setting with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Developing IEP goals tailored to individual student requirements
  • Delivering direct therapy services, both individual and group, to diverse K-12 populations
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress
  • Maintaining timely, accurate records and participating in IEP meetings
  • Staying current with best practices and developments in the field
