Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of Idaho
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows with school experience considered
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with a variety of assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, to students with varying abilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Maintain detailed therapy records and contribute to progress reports
  • Offer support and resources to families and educational staff to promote student success
  • Participate in parent meetings, staff development, and relevant school events
