This full-time position, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allows you to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners. While specific caseload details will be determined by the district closer to the start date, you'll have the opportunity to support students communication and academic success throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Active South Carolina Educator Certification
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Experience or interest in providing speech therapy services in a school setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on-site and foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic speech-language services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collect data, document student progress, and contribute to eligibility and progress meetings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate optimal student outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and comply with state and federal regulations
