What Youll Need:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure in Florida (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP), or CFY considered
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork with teachers, staff, and families

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with educators and families to integrate strategies in the classroom and beyond
  • Offer guidance and resources to support educational staff regarding communication disorders
