Job Description

Embark on an exciting opportunity to support students communication and learning as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract position offers hands-on experience working with a diverse K-12 caseload, providing essential speech and language services directly onsite in a supportive educational environment.

Youll collaborate alongside fellow educators and professionals to help students develop vital language, voice, fluency, and articulation skills that are pivotal for academic and social success. Whether you are a Clinical Fellow (CF) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), youll find fulfillment in making a daily impact and building strong relationships with students and staff from August 2026 through June 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing speech-language pathology in a school setting
  • Ability to work effectively with K-12 students
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials considered
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is advantageous, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention for speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
  • Empower students to achieve their fullest communicative potential
