Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong knowledge of varied communication disorders
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse needs and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to assess speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services within the school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide thorough documentation and maintain records
• Offer guidance to staff regarding classroom strategies for communication needs
• Monitor, track, and report student progress
• Maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations
