Youll have the chance to make a meaningful difference collaborating with dedicated educational teams and providing specialized speech-language services. This position runs from August 25, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and is ideal for a talented SLP eager to impact learners at both the high school and middle school levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- SLP-CCC certification highly desirable
- Proficiency delivering services to students with varying communication needs
- Strong organization and adaptability skills for working across multiple buildings
- Effective collaboration and communication with students, staff, and families
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, primarily in the Liberty High School ESC and BEST classrooms (approximately 11 students)
- Deliver overflow support for Heritage Middle School and potentially one additional building within the district
- Split schedule: typically three days at the high school, two days at the secondary site(s)
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in relevant meetings
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for every student
This full-time, on-site contract position lets you immerse yourself in the school community. Youll work Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:40pm, supporting students at key transition points in their academic paths.
