Embark on an engaging contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic school environment. This full-time position begins late August and continues through the end of May, offering the chance to enrich the lives of students while collaborating with educational teams. Assignments will be at a school in the vicinity of Blue Springs, MO, with the specific caseload and location details provided based on your expertise and preferences.
Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am 4:40pm
- Contract duration: August 25, 2026, through May 27, 2027
- Caseload and specific school site to be determined with your input
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license for the state of Missouri
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication abilities and strong collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapeutic services for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to optimize support
- Maintain thorough documentation and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
