Job Description
Step into a pivotal speech-language pathology role within a well-established Nevada school community. This full-time, on-site contract position meets the needs of students across various age groups and school sites in the Las Vegas area. Your expertise as a speech-language pathologist will create meaningful change in the lives of children from the start of the academic year through late spring.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Masters degree program in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CF considered, CCCs highly preferred)
- Active Nevada Department of Education Certification
- Active Nevada SLP License
- Ability to complete all district credentialing processes promptly (including district-coordinated fingerprinting)
- Full-time availability from July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- Must provide on-site services only (no virtual or hybrid opportunities)
- Bilingual abilities a welcome plus
Duties:
- Deliver on-site speech-language services to diverse student caseloads assigned by the district
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication development
- Document work in accordance with district and regulatory standards
- Adapt to a flexible caseloadage group, number of schools, and assignment specifics provided at placement
