Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or pediatric settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing development in the field
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each students goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Provide direct therapy and utilize evidence-based practices within classrooms or designated therapy spaces
- Offer training and support to educators regarding speech and language strategies
