Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active New Mexico SLP license is required
• Previous school-based experience is highly valued
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and speech/language interventions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and IEP requirements
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Consult with educational staff to support student integration in the classroom and school-wide
• Foster an empowering environment that nurtures each childs strengths and unique abilities
