This full-time contract position focuses on providing outstanding support to students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. In this role, youll also have the unique opportunity to supervise a Clinical Fellow (CF) and an SLPA, ensuring they receive the mentorship and direction they need to grow in their careers. Candidates should possess ample professional experience in a school environment and be confident in a leadership capacity.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut SLP license and CCC certification
• Previous experience in elementary school settings, ideally K-2nd grade
• Strong background in evaluating and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor CFs and SLPAs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability and collaborative attitude

What Youll Do:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to kindergarten2nd grade students according to their IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication delays and disorders
• Document progress and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Provide guidance, support, and supervision to a CF and SLPA
• Contribute to IEP meetings and goal setting for each student on your caseload
• Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with district and state policies
