Job Description

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license (state licensure requirements must be met)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows may be considered
  • Prior pediatric school-based experience highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and school documentation procedures

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students ages preschool through high school
  • Develop tailored intervention plans and deliver direct therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students communication goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to educational teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all professional and ethical standards
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment, advocating for students needs
