Job Description
Provide essential speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting, supporting PreK5 students to enhance their communication skills and academic success. This full-time, contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating in IEP meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to approximately 50 elementary-aged students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with school personnel
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school district policies
- Manage an itinerant caseload, with paid travel included if applicable
Qualifications:
- Valid Oklahoma SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing school-based speech-language services
- Skilled in assessment, evaluation, and IEP development for elementary-aged children (PreK5)
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
- Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
Location & Schedule:
- Location: Ponca City, OK 74601
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), 5 days per week
- Contract Duration: Contract to hire, starting ASAP through the end of the school year (exact end date to be confirmed)
