Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving elementary students in a school setting in Blackwell, OK. This position involves working with PreK5th grade students, providing essential speech-language services to support their communication and academic success. The role offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, focused on a caseload of approximately 50 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy tailored to elementary-aged students needs
- Conduct assessments and comprehensive evaluations of speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Manage an itinerant caseload with paid travel as applicable
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Oklahoma SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) mandatory
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, evaluations, and IEP development
- Comfortable working primarily with PreK through 5th grade caseload
- Fingerprinting clearance required before start date
Additional Details:
- Contract-to-hire arrangement with a start date ASAP
- Position scheduled to continue through the end of the current school year (end date to be confirmed)
