Qualifications:
- Valid NC Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to meet the needs of a multi-grade caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy for students in grades K-12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and outcomes
- Provide consultation and resources for classroom teachers
- Fulfill responsibilities related to a maternity leave during the 2026-2027 school year
